II. General information about data processing

1st Scope of processing of personal data when booking

We only process personal data of our users if you make a booking through our reservation system, stay at the Hotel Isabella or contact us. We receive the personal data directly from you or from the third parties commissioned by you as well as from the online travel agencies you use to book.

The processing of personal data of our users takes place regularly only with the consent of the user. An exception applies in cases in which prior consent cannot be obtained for factual reasons and the processing of the data is permitted by law.

To process the bookings, we use the third party provider, the booking system of Hotelpartner Deutschland GmbH , Neuer Wall 32, 20354 Hamburg, Germany.

When you make a booking through our reservation system or reserve a room directly at the Hotel Isabella, we collect data from you.

The data collected during the booking or your stay may include a .:

    • your first name and surname, your email address, your postal and business address, your telephone number, your payment card details
    • Information about the stay and room preferences that you specified when you made your booking, such as the preferred room, additional services and personal wishes or preferences that you expressed in the Comments field or directly opposite the hotel.

We primarily use the data collected to process your hotel booking: the provision of the booked services, communication with you, billing, etc.

Insofar as and as long as the processing of the data is necessary for the conclusion of the contract, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR as a permission standard for data processing.

After your stay, you may receive additional communication related to your stay or a guest satisfaction survey.

The data collected in this way will be deleted as soon as the mutual obligations have been fulfilled, in particular your stay with us and the settlement has been completed.

The booking data you provided will be stored in the booking system provided by Hotelpartner GmbH, Neuer Wall 32, 20354 Hamburg, Germany. As far as technically necessary to process your order, your personal data will be passed on to other third parties. Maintenance of the booking system is a necessary prerequisite for contract execution, Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b GDPR. We ensure that these third-party providers have undertaken to comply with the statutory and our specific data protection regulations, in particular with the timely deletion of their personal data.

In circumstances such as the following, we may also pass on your stay details to other third parties:

    • if we have a good faith belief that disclosure is required by law or to protect hotel guests, employees, and the public
    • if the disclosure is necessary to comply with a court order, judgment, summons, warrant or trial, or
    • in the event of a merger or the sale of the company or its part
